Johnathan co-founded the Advisor Hunt team at Jacobsen Partners. He serves successful financial advisors, facilitating succession planning via the sale of books, growth through the acquisition of books, and the transition towards independence to better serve client long-term wealth objectives.
Firms that John partners with include Wealth Managers, Private Counsel, Financial Planners, Insurance Companies, Banks, and Family Offices.
Prior to joining Jacobsen Partners, John was a recognized top performer in financial planning at RBC. He was responsible for market development, client acquisition and outside sales. John is a knowledgeable industry insider serving advisors across Canada in English, French, Italian and Spanish.
Vincent is an expert in recruiting and consulting for financial advisors, financial planners, investment advisors, mutual fund representatives, portfolio managers and financial security advisors.
His job is to help financial advisers to obtain the best return and the best commissions rate, to increase their level of independence, to have better support for compliance and the administration of files, to have access to state-of-the-art tools and benefit from generous incentives for transferring their assets to another platform.
He also supports advisors in the sale and purchase of client portfolios, particularly those looking for growth or succession.
Prior to this role, Vincent worked as a Financial Advisor and Group Savings Representative for Laurentian Bank. He therefore knows the advisers' environment well.
Vincent is a level 3 candidate in the CFA Institute program and holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Montreal.
Vincent speaks English and French.
Leveraging off his financial and professional services firm experience, Corey recruits for senior-level positions in Finance & Accounting.
Corey trained in Assurance, Financial Advisory and Tax with EY, serving both private and public clients in real estate, financial services, retail, manufacturing and distribution. This experience gives Corey an insiders’ perspective and arms him with a tremendous advantage in understanding both the key financial roles within organizations as well as the unique skills required to effectively fulfill key positions.
Corey studied at McGill University and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA.)
Robert ensures the smooth running of our operations, including leveraging our tools and technology for efficient and effective client service. He manages our team that keeps our consultants market-facing, talking to clients and the types of people who our clients want to meet.
Robert was a Search Director, CFO Hunt and Tax Hunt, before becoming Director of Operations & Technology. With that experience combination he brings a unique understanding to our clients' and consultants' needs.
Prior to joining Jacobsen Partners, Robert worked with some of the world’s leading technology and digital-economy companies, including Nortel, Newbridge Networks and Cisco Systems. Rob earned his Bachelors in Computer Science from Concordia University.
Leon uses targeted solicitation to facilitate the succession planning of financial advisers by matching selling advisors with established buying advisors. He also facilitates the transfer of books between dealers for advisors looking for an upgrade.
Leon brings experience from a successful career in banking spanning several key roles. Prior to joining the team, Leon distinguished himself as one of the top performers in business banking at Scotiabank and National Bank of Canada.
Leon holds an MBA in Financial Services from Laval University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Quantitative Economics from Millsaps College (USA).
Proficient in both English and French, Leon is poised to leverage his expertise and knowledge to serve the Canadian market coast to coast.
François is a Director in the Financial Advisor Solutions team at Jacobsen Partners. He serves successful financial security advisors, facilitating succession planning via the sale of books, growth through the acquisition of books, and the transition towards independence to better serve client long-term wealth objectives.

Prior to joining Jacobsen Partners, François was an institutional marketer for well known Canadian investment firms. François also worked as a wholesaler for Canadian mutual fund companies. Furthermore, François is in a great position to understand the advisors reality as he also held that position serving 250 families for a few years.
François obtained a Bachelor degree from Bishop’s University, a Master of Science from ESCEM-Poitiers, a private business school in France and a Master in Business(International Management) from Sherbrooke University.
